Saturday 9th March 11:15 Excursion Row Cancelled

Although the forecast for Saturday appears to indicate it will be dry from late morning, it also currently forecasts strong winds that will not be safe for rowing. However, in the hope that Mr, Miss, Mrs and Ms Metoffice are all being overly pessimistic, we will aim to meet at 11:15 on Saturday.

Please keep your eye on the post for any updates, including potential destination and what to bring [e.g. cake] in the event that the forecast improves.

Update 08/03:
As Richard has mentioned, conditions look slightly better for tomorrow but they are still on the borderline of what we typically row in. I will post by 09:30 tomorrow morning [09/03] if the row will be cancelled. If no post is made, please assume the row will be on. If the row is on, we will probably row down Chichester harbour and then pop back into Emsworth for some refreshments.

Row now cancelled due to the high winds.
