Is anyone coming out to play on Saturday? High tide is 09.50 and the prediction is for sun with a moderate westerly F4 breeze, so I propose a row to try the £4.99 UNLIMITED BREAKFAST at the Great Salterns Harvester in Eastern Road. They may regret offering unlimited breakfasts to crews of hungry rowers...

Awwww ...... that's just teasing those of us who have already signed up to row on the dark side that day!!       How many hours does a bacon and saus breakfast (supposedly) shorten the lifespan by ?  :-)   Have a damned fine row ..... and breakfast!

Nobody seems to want a yummy Harvester breakfast so it's off. Andrew will be out with the gigs and I am going to be around anyway to put another coat of paint on my Hampshire Punt so I will take the opportunity to go for a quick spin in Kittiwake.

Well, I decided to have breakfast at home rather than row all the way to the Harvester in Kittiwake, but got as far as this in an hour where I decided to turn. Due to the F4 westerly it took 45min to get back.
