Saturday Row 16th Nov with Guests from Bridport..

At the Great River Race this year, some of the Bridport Gig Club asked if they could come and row in Chichester Harbour for the pleasure of experiencing the beauty of our surroundings.  They are NOT bringing their boats, but will be rowing with us in our boats. There are up to 11 of them coming, so if we can get at least 13 Langstone folk to join in, we can fill all four of our large boats. We will need some experienced Langstone Rowers who will be happy to cox on the day.

Weatherforcast  is Force 3 (NE) cloudy but dry. Bring layers for when coxing/ passengering. Plan for Day:-  
Meet Langstone boat park - 11:00 - Bring in both Claydons, launch both Galleys and one Teiffi
Bridport rowers have been asked to be with us 11:15
Plan is then to row down Chi Harbour to Marker
Return to Emsworth
Time Ashore
Back to Langstone by about 15:00
Socialise with our guests in The Royal Oak

Alison,  is your friend a member of langstone cutters? My reason for asking is twofold: excursion routes are for members who have reached a reasonable level of rowing. Is your friend an experienced rower? Sorry to ask but can you let me know.
