Saturday row in Southampton

Chris Partridge
Administrator
For the excursion row on Saturday Sept 21 I propose to take Gladys to Southampton, for a row from the slipway at Woolston to Eling (6miles), where we will have lunch. The weather forecast is grey but dry with light winds.
Here's the plan:
Meet Langstone Road lay-by for departure at 10.00
Launch Woolston 11.00
High Tide 12.50 (4.7m)
Return Woolston  14.00
Return Langstone 15.00(ish)
Lifejackets will be carried, so if you don't have one let me know.

OK chaps, this is a very exclusive trip so we will use 15 Seconds and I think in view of her size we should go up the Hamble rather than dodge the cruise ships on the Test. Could we meet at the boat park (not the layby) at 10.00?

Ok. (It's a bit of a pity that Elin is out as I was looking forward to seeing the Waverley on its way up S'ton water....) See you at 10-00.
