Solent Galley Gathering arrangements for Saturday 10.30

Hi all,

     Can I suggest that the following people ( the first twelve to sign up excluding Matt who asked to meet at Northney and James who wasn't sure he was going ) meet at the boat park and row the two Galleys over to Northney marina and everyone else goes straight there.  I've allowed for 6 in each boat to make launching easier.

Everyone else please do still go as there will be opportunities to row in all the boats once you're there.The event is due to start at 11. For those that haven't been to Northney Marina before, go over Langstone bridge towards Hayling and take the first left before the garage. When the road bends sharp right go straight ahead past the Langstone Hotel. Drive through the gates of Northney Marina and keep going straight ahead until you reach the right hand bend when you will see the entrance to the car park for visitors straight ahead of you. Park there and walk to the water where there should be enough noise and people to guide you.

I'm sorry not to be able to be there as it will be so good to have all the Galleys together. Have a great day!
