he in that short time I’ve learnt a lot from him.

Hi Rachel

Steve was a real encourager and an inspirational member of the Cutters.   It was always great rowing with him and he will be greatly missed by us all.

Steve meant so much to so many people, we can only be grateful for him being part of our lives. Steve played a huge part in so many of our best adventures and happy times whilst rowing.
Rest in Peace lovely man.

Steve helped teach me to row and certainly changed my life for the better , he passed on his passion for the sport to me and many other Cutters . He was kind , caring , thoughtful gentlemen , loved by all who were lucky enough to have known him.

Rachel you have a rowing ' family ' forever here when needed , day or night .
I've posted to Dolphin as he was a founder member, his passion to get boats out on the harbour for all  to enjoy.  He will be dearly missed but certainly never forgotten .

So deeply sad and shocked to hear this. Even as a relative outsider, I could see this was a man who was hugely liked, respected, loved by friends and a good, natural leader and teacher and inspiration for others. Thinking of you and the Cutters.  Ben
