If no one else has expressed a wish to use the other Teifi on Friday by 6pm Thursday, I'd like to go out in the free Teifi at 9am.


 Row plan in Chi harbour, probably to Tye/Marker and back, for ca 2 hrs - perhaps less if the "weather" arrives a bit earlier than my forecasts say.

I think it will be too difficult with the wind .I will decide at 0800 tomorrow when I have to leave home.

Phil it looks as though the weather is going to be even worse over the weekend, so I would like to go out with you, but I can take a boat from Dolphin RC at Northney and meet you both on the water if that is okay. We will need to watch the weather to make sure we get back before it starts blowing up.

 I had hoped from the forecasts that we would just squeeze into the only wind window that we are likely to have 'til next week!

Sadly, the forecast is showing the wind getting up a little earlier than previously forecast, the Met office says it will be for F7 by 11 o’clock. So I think we ought to cancel today which is very frustrating as we won’t be able to get out again for several days.

I was on the verge of being optimistic and squeezing in a quick one as the wind here is increasing at about 3 to 4 mph per hour - so should be ok until around 10-30 / 11-00. ...but it would be "pushing the envelope" so I concur with your decision. It is also likely to have a light sprinkle of rain in about an hour from now..
