THANK YOU. Garden Party goers GREAT JOB

Steve Woods
This post was updated on .
Crew,

Thank you crew for the hard graft clearing the boat park. Sustained by  Mike tea from Mike and Terry for a superb cake .

Look out for for posts for rowing this week and next and also for helping load boats etc .

More boat park work in October when we will refurbish and slightly extend the path.

Row on.....

From Christine ....

I'm thinking lets meet at 2pm in the boat yard. We need to burn all the dead wood and do a general vegetation tidy up.  We will then have a row down the harbour and back.  If you want to bring something like a potato to bake in foil, sausage, marshmellows etc to cook in the fire embers or on our return be cooked and consumed pleas do.
Tools will be gardening gloves, old clothes, suitable foot wear, pruners, spade/fork or anything that you would think is helpful please bring.
Gardeners and not rowing is fine. Doing both is also brilliant.
See you Saturday weather permitting of course.
Thanks Christine

New members very welcome

Future date in October we wll plan to refurbish the path and extend where possible.

Snip, chop, rake and row on....

Please post

Cheers

I know there is little more annoying than a negative reply, but just to say we hope to still be camping in Cornwall, so can't make it. Apologies.

Crew,

It is time to sort the Boat Park.. suggestion is that we arrive equipped to trim, rake, chop, sort and then go for a row at 5pm (Marcus and Christine in charge)  including last training rows before the GRR taper down week and come back to our baked spuds etc .

So weather permitting this is the plan ....
