Today’s Row

Joan
Thanks to everyone for a lovely row today in near perfect conditions.  Teamwork was impressive to get four boats together and oars tossed for the two minute silence so thanks for everyone’s efforts to make that a meaningful salute.

On parking could everyone please note that we are requested not to park in Langstone High Street and as we are dependent on the goodwill of Langstone residents and particularly the Mill for the free use of the boatpark it is in our best interests to observe this. You can park either at car park beside The Ship, the lay-by at the top (but beware restrictions Mon to Sat 3 hours only between 9 & 5) and also on street parking on the other side of the road in Langstone Road/Avenue.

And finally a photo…

I’m much gratified to see that you all saluted for the armistice at 11 and that you had a good time!!!
I took Millie out to Fowley Rithe and back, in the time available before participating in the armistice celebration ( ?) at Stansted. What a great day. I hope everyone else enjoyed it!
