Volunteer needed to oversee trailers

michael
You are actually reading this, so you are just the person our club is looking for.
All our trailers have just been serviced and mostly looking smart, I have new light boards and would like to discuss what else you might think we need, like jacks and tyre irons.
Gladys trailer needs a new rear keel roller and a wire brush and dab of rust converter then a lick of paint.
The sort of thing we ( by which I mean you) can organise a small crew of willing volunteers to help with.
This is the club we are, we do all our own maintenance, we chip in together, we have fun doing it, and we always laugh a lot.
Please come forward, you do not need to be a mechanic or an engineer, just a member willing to oversee the trailers that take us to lovely places to row. It will not be time consuming.
Pretty please,
Michael

Dear Michael

I am
Always happy to help but still work full time

Usually when big jobs have been done on the trailers they get moved to my garden , fixed and then returned

The Solent galley trailer needs a coat of paint

I am pretty certain 4 or 5 of us could deal with that in one paint in one Saturday when the tide is out

I have booked to see Ian Jubb with a boat and trailer to get a single trailer designed which will be road legal

Regards

C

I'm happy to help but don't want to be the overseer.
If someone can help move the galley trailer I will bring my motorhome down one low tide to check the trailer connects to it
