For those who have signed up for the Hamble River Raid on 19th May 2018, we need some volunteers to take on coxing duties. We currently have two names but as we are looking to enter 7 boats, we need some more volunteers. This is a good opportunity to get some race experience before the Great River Race and to get some more signatures on your green coxes card. If you are interested in coxing, please reply to this post. With regards to the event, everybody who has signed up thus far has got a place. Names of people signed up are as follows. If I have missed anyone, please let me know:
We also need one more volunteer for the event in order to fill the boats. Please post if interested. |

..Dave, Steve, I am training a group of Doctors from Southampton who are planning to row Jersey to Southampton in June to raise money for a new children's Trauma Unit . Some of them want to row the Hamble River Raid as a training and promotion excercise... So I am wondering if it at all possible to have them row with you - maybe in a St Ayles Skiff? I cannot help sadly as I am in Venice with Laura Jane.. Is it possible to have them row with you guys in a Skiff? Cheers, Mike Gilbert

Hi Dave
I did the Hamble River Raid last year. I have a lot on at the moment so won't have much time for any training, but am happy to help if you need a rowing body! Thanks Wendy |
