Re: Wed 30 April Hamble Practice Midweek Row 12 noon
That's great... welcome Nigel, you'll be in a boat of 6, with an opportunity to sit out in the passenger seat in rotation, in order to get a break occasionally, if wished.
I think we'll have 4 boats going out.... usually we all stick together, but this time there's some training going on, in 3 of the Boats, so we may be separate. But we'll have one boat on a leisurely social row, and you'll be in that one.
Everyone, please can you check here on the forum on the morning of the row, in case of any last minute changes or weather cancellation
I was hoping to sign up for this row if more [?all] of the Hamble River Raid Sallyport crew signed up for it.
However only one has so far signed up, so may I request that (she and) the other members of the crew be made aware that due to tides and other factors there are only a limited number of potential practice dates before the race. I’d be grateful if all of the crew ( JackieH, SarahS, SueM and JulieC ) would contact me by Email to discuss dates asap.
P.S. since I don’t have their email addresses I shall try and contact them via Nabble, but it frequently does not allow this due to its software……!
Re: Wed 30 April Hamble Practice Midweek Row 12 noon. Update Crews
Sorry we won't see you, Geoff and Chris.
Welcome Julie, you're in with Dave M in leisure boat.
We could do with one more rower now.... let's see what happens
Re: Wed 30 April Hamble Practice Midweek Row 12 noon. Update Crews
Frances, as the weather looks so calm LL would like to row around Hayling, if any other boats would like to join us it looks like one of those rare perfect days. (So far)

Re: Wed 30 April Hamble Practice Midweek Row 12 noon. Update Crews
This is a great opportunity to do that. Really good endurance practise. Perhaps crews could give this some thought for preferences tomorrow.......
For the Gladys crew, I was thinking we might be concentrating on a practise involving the necessary stops/starts/slows/fast spurts/hard turns etc that go with the conditions at Hamble...
Let's see what each crew would like.
Best wishes all, it's looking very good for tomorrow
