Ahead of time, and chance to put this in our diaries.....
It's my turn to organise the midweek row, but I feel it might be a welcome opportunity to practise in crews (as much as poss) for Hamble River Raid, for which all 5 of our big boats are signed up.

So, rather than a 'destination' row, I'd like to suggest just up and down harbour as wished, chance to practise together as crews, but not necessarily as a fleet, but in radio contact.

Individual coxes/captains feel free to post here to sort out hybrid crews.

Of course, if a boat wants to call into Emsworth for tea etc go ahead, but individual boat captains decide.

And please don't think you can't sign up if you're not on the Hamble list, all rowers, all levels welcome, we'll make it work to suit everyone, in the Cutters spirit, like we always do!.

Hello Julie, I can see how you may feel that time is short, with being away until 11 May.

I think all the forthcoming Organised Rows will take account of crews wanting to sub-divide and practise for Hamble, so some of your crew members will get chances to practise.....

But in your case, having just the week before the event, the tides are good that week....i suggest organising between yourselves a day that week when you can all get together, and putting a note on the forum that you'd like to take a Galley out to practise.... if your Cox is unavailable, or you need an extra rower or two, then it's fine to 'advertise' for extras. But don't worry, the Cutters pull together!
