Thursday is the last of the big spring tides at 4.8m. The forecast is a bit breezy and chilly but dry.
I propose a ‘spectacles row’, round the Langstone Archipelego, back through the bridges and round Fowley Island, giving a great GPS track. Beer at the Oak after.
Meet 1330.
Chris... and all.. the Galleys will be borrowed for the GUAG course on Wednesday... taken over at 14.00...(HW 14.57). Last course finishes at 19.00... so probably not enough water to return them that day.
So Thursday morning they will still be on the water in the Marina.... need to get them back from there or, start your row from there? I can shuttle rowers back to cars??
Thoughts...
Mike

...and a place for me, please.
I'll probably need to know which side we are starting from, by Wednesday evening - due to other commitments on Thursday morning.
Mike, can you ferry two crews over to the marina to pick up the boats? If the galley crews meet in the High Street at 1330 the galleys should be out of the marina at roughly the same time as the Teifi leaves the Mill.
I suggest Shahnaz, Rachel and me in the Teifi and everyone else in the galleys with skippers Marilyn and Frances.
Anyone else for a second Teifi or, indeed, a Claydon?
