Am very interested,  but I don't have a row bar,  so very much dependent on others.

Looks like some company then... Leave Michael to arrange things with the Cutters.

Our idea is to tow to Warsash side. There is a big shallow beach/slip and a car park that takes trailers...

HW Southampton is down as 12.15.

leaving Langstone/Hayling at around 09.30 - get to Warsash at 10.00'ish... launch and store trailers -
leave Warsash rowing at 10.30 - 1 hour+ 15min gentle row, with the rising tide to Horse and Jockey... 11.45/12.00; lunch and return leaving H&J at 13.30?

H&J has a big tent in the garden but we should probably let them know numbers - 20-30 people arriving at once could be a challenge...

I will let Hamble River Rowing Club know we are coming...

Hi there,
I'm a new member to the Cutters and also a member with CRAC over the last year or so. I would like to join this excursion as the first long row with the Cutters please. Happy to drive and take any passengers.
Thanks

I would love to do this row if we are taking a second boat. Is everyone aware that you now have to pay to park in any car park near the Hamble? They all have a 4 hour limit which is not long enough, except for the big car park with toilets at Warsash where you can stay longer. That one has a height barrier that the double trailer won't fit under.

Hamble tow and row. If we find a member to tow the Celtic and enough of us to fill three boats, I believe with 15-18 members we could safely lift and load two galleys.

Re: Hamble River Autumn excursion CRAC

Liz, Thanks, yes we always park in the big car park with the toilets and trailer parking spaces, after we have unloaded the boats on the hard, the empty trailer has always fitted under the height barrier.
All this is mute if we do not find a member to tow the Celtic as loading the double trailer requires 3 crews.

Hi Michael,
Just an idea, but is there someone from one of the other clubs going like CRAC etc, who could help us get our Celtic there?

Hi
I am interested in joining this but a little wary as I strained my back this week happy to try if there are sufficient numbers with someone to swap rowing if I struggle
I am also happy to tow the second boat assuming there is enough help loading
